According to the Brazilian Federal Law 8.069/1990, minors under 18 years of age cannot check into hotels unless they are accompanied by their parents or a designated adult. If a minor is accompanied by an adult other than his parents, it is necessary to present a written authorisation for the minor to check into the hotel. Such authorisation must be notarised and signed by both parents, and presented along with notarised copies of their IDs.

All minors under 18 years of age also need to present a valid ID with photo, to prove their identity and that of his/her parents. This must be presented even if a minor is accompanied by his/her parents.

In the case of a minor accompanied by only one of the parents, it is necessary to present a notarised authorisation signed by the absent parent, along with a notarised copy of that parent's ID.

The property will keep a copy of the minor's ID and authorization (certified signature by juvenile court) as Estadual Law of São Paulo number 15.449.

Children under 10 can stay free of charge when using existing beds. This policy applies only to double (2 persons) occupancy rate.

What was the highlight of Astron Baden Baden
All in all it was a really good experience and I left very satisfied.
I would recommend the Astron for its many virtues. It not only has some of the widest rooms I have seen in any hotel, but the staff is truly very nice, always at one's disposal, The breakfast is great, they even make scrambbled eggs specifically for you each time you ask. Room service is very neat, and the amenities are really comfortable. The location is wonderful if you consider it has 2 supermarkets in front of the hotel, a big pharmacy at the end of the street, and it's literally surrounded by restaurants of all kinds (chinese, italian, scandinavian, spanish, german) and ranging all prices, many of them with delivery to your hotel room.
I didn't like a couple of things. Firstly, the Internet didn't reach the dorms, it worked mainly in the first half of the hotel room. Secondly, the room didn't have a hair dryer even though they stated otherwise. Last but not least, until the new "Campo Belo" metro station opens in 2020, there aren't any near the hotel, not for around a mile away.

Always a pleasure!!
It's always a pleasure to stay at this hotel. By far not your usual super modern and busy hotel. Quite the contrary. It's old fashioned and a little decadent. But if you like character, super friendly staff and a home away from home this is the place. That's how I feel when I come here. The staff know me and call me by my name. Accommodate me in everything I need. And the location is excellent. Not in a super busy street of Sao Paulo. It's in a lovely neighborhood, 15 minutes from the Aeroporto de Congonhas and with real cool restaurants within walking distance. My favorite place to stay in SP!!
Lets get the curtains washed and make sure that the phones in room and living room work and that the shades of the bed side lamp and the one in the living work get changed. That alone will give a lift to the apartments!

What was the highlight of Astron Baden Baden
Saving the room, it was great as usual!!
When in Sao Paulo I alwyas stay at this hotel. I love it!! The staff is extremely friendly and personal. I feel I'm at home. The apartment is excellent and comfortable. I especially like the kitchenette feature. Extra bonus with the nice area at the back with lounge chairs by the pool, always with clean and transparent water.
In this last stay, there was some problem with some apartments and I had to stay in a carpeted apartment that was filthy and smelly. The lamp on my side of the bad was broken, Windows had to remain open! Hello administration!!!!! Do something!!!!! As usual the staff at the desk were great. I could see they felt real bad! Thanks guys!! Hello administration!!!!! Do something!!!!!

What was the highlight of Astron Baden Baden
Comfortable and well located
The hotel is close to Congonhas airport (around 10 minutes by taxi and there is a taxi stop at the front of the hotel.) The room has a small living room and kitchen. The bedroom is comfortable. The breakfast was really good, with fruits, cereals, juices, coffee, breads and lots of cheese. Overall, it was certainly more than I needed for a short business trip.
The Tv is tiny.
